Hometown: North Port, Florida

I have been kayak fishing for over 20 years. I love being able to fish waters that are sometimes unfishable by boat. I fish fresh and salt for everything from Bass to Tarpon from my kayak. My most memorable fish would have to be a 140 pound Tarpon that I caught just off the beach in Sarasota Florida.

Sport of choice in the winter? Summer?

I live in Florida which affords me the ability to fish year around.

How did you start in your sport? (What’s your origin story?)

I started in Illinois fishing from a Coleman canoe and changed over to kayaks when sit on top kayaks were introduced. The SOT made it much safer with the scupper plug design allowing the kayaks to drain water rather than sink like the canoes.

What is your favorite Dakota Lithium Product & WHY?

I use both the 10ah and 23ah batteries to power my fish finders
