DL LiFePO4 batteries have a flat voltage curve, which means they have a steady power output as the battery discharges. The power output will not dramatically drop like similar sized SLA batteries. The DL 36V 60Ah battery is built with Dakota Lithium's legendary LiFePO4 cells. 2,000+ recharge cycles (roughly 5 year lifespan at daily use) vs. 500 for other lithium batteries or lead acid. Optimal performance down to minus 20 degrees Fahrenheit (for winter warriors). Plus twice the power of lead-acid batteries at half the weight.

Only used the battery a few times. So far very impressed. I fished 20 hours over a period of 2 days in the wind and current without any loss of power.
I freed up enough space to add more stuff!
I modified a group 31 battery tray by removing the walls, leaving the hold down strap. I used some computer mouse pads as a cushion then strapped in place. Seems to be holding.
Now for the “I wish” it had a port so I could add a gauge noting the amps/volts remaining.
