I replaced six lead acid batteries of twelve to six Dakota lithium batteries to power my beloved Lake River Lady, my electric boat. This summer I was able to explore whole new regions of the vast Muskoka Lakes region because of my extended range. Recently I changed the charger for my new batteries to a Dakota brand. I was surprised at how quickly it worked or is it because the batteries do not discharge that much in my travels? My boat is noticeably more efficient because of the light weight of the new batteries. But it has a lean to one side because of the old.
