Capacity

14 Ampere hours (Each battery is 7Ah). Dakota Lithium batteries provide consistent power for all 14 Amp hours. DL LiFePO4 batteries have a flat voltage curve, which means they have a steady power output as the battery discharges. The power output will not dramatically drop like similar sized SLA batteries. You get all the juice down to the last drop.

Lifecycles (battery lifespan)

Up to 80% capacity for 2,000 cycles in recommended conditions. The typical SLA has 500 cycles. Dakota Lithium batteries last so long that the price per use is a fraction of traditional batteries.

Operating temperature

Ideal for rugged & harsh environments. Much better than SLA or other lithium’s. -20°F min, +120°F max optimal discharging temps. Charging 32°F to 120°F.

Standard F2 terminals (6.35mm or 0.25" wide)

Discharge

10A max continuous, 50A max 300 mS pulse. 9.0V max discharge, 11.0V max recommended discharge. For longest lifetime recommended discharge rate 1-5 Amps. The flat discharge voltage curve provides a 75% bigger capacity then a SLA 10Ah battery.

Charge

10A max, 14.4V recommended, 15V max. Please note: this battery should be charged using a LiFePO4 compatible charger. A SLA charger may work, but will reduce performance and lifespan of the battery.

Includes active BMS protection

Contains a circuit that handles cell balancing, low voltage cutoff, high voltage cutoff, short circuit protection and high temperature protection for increased performance and longer life.

Certifications

All batteries are UN38 certified. Dakota Lithium's cells are UL1642 certified and have been tested per IEC62133 standards. Meets all US & International regulations for air, ground, and train transport.

Dakota Lithium is ISO Certified per 9001:2015 standards, and select models are produced in ISO 14001 certified facilities.

CHARGER SOLD SEPARATELY

This battery should be charged using a LiFePO4 compatible charger. Dakota Lithium 12V batteries should be charged at 14.4 volts, higher than AGM or lead acid. Lead acid chargers will work, but will only charge the battery to 80% of capacity.

The batteries I purchased were installed in an Acorn Stair Chairlift. They replaced the standard Lead-Acid Batteries with zero difficulty. Since the Chair charging system is 24vdc (the batteries are installed in series), I only had to pre-charge each 12 volt battery with the 12vdc Charger prior to installation. The Chairlift runs smoothly and without any power fade near the top of the stairs as with the Lead-Acid batteries. I fully expect these batteries to last at least double the time of the original Lead-Acid Batteries, if not longer. The cost of the original Lead-Acid Batteries by the installation company every time the voltage dropped below 20vdc was over $130 for the pair. This was a twice yearly event. When I decided to do the replacement myself, the removal & installation of the batteries was covered by a You-Tube Video. Easy enough for anyone who knows which end of a screwdriver to use. I highly recommend the Dakota LiFePO4 Batteries as a replacement for ANY Lead-Acid battery installation. They have many different sizes and capacities, so do your own investigating on the Dakota Lithium Webpages. //END//
