DL LiFePO4 batteries have a flat voltage curve, which means they have a steady power output as the battery discharges. The power output will not dramatically drop like similar sized SLA batteries. You get all the juice down to the last drop.

I have a Lund Pro V 1900 IFS Walleye Tournament boat mounted with a Minn Kota Terrova 36 v 112 lb thrust trolling motor. I purchased this battery to replace 3 size 31 SLA batteries. I l was able to shed 200 lbs out of my boat doing the battery swap alone. Last weekend I really tested this battery in a local walleye tournament. We had extreme winds gusting 40- 50 mph for nearly half of the tournament each day. I was trolling for this tournament LLC day long and this battery lasted me all day long. Several other tournament anglers were complaining their batteries went dead half way through the tournament. I still had plenty of “full power” left when the tournament was finished. I purchased the high speed charger and the battery recharged in just over 2 hours. I’m in love with this new Dakota Lithium battery.
