Batteries are exactly what we were looking for. Our golf carts run great and are 200 lbs. lighter. Great product, we own Onward golf carts and they fit perfect.

Installed myself.
I removed the old batteries and had to make some changes to the battery tray with an oscillating cutter. It was essential for my install. Once I got the new battery down flat and secure , I first hooked up my voltage converter to the battery then my 12 volt wires for lights etc to the converter to be sure I had things correct. Then hooked up the main wires 48v to the cart. Then put on a new voltmeter to replace my old one I didn’t like.
The pick up is definitely quicker and top speed I estimate is 3 or 4 mph faster.
I haven’t had long enough to test range with the Dakota Lithium but my old batteries I had to charge after 4 miles which wasnt much.
I have the charger installed under the seat. I plan on opening the seat when I charge because the charger does get hot which I expect is normal.
I am expecting my range to be much much more and my charging frequency to be much less.
So far performance – pick up and speed- is a little better but not drastic. No wheelies but in sand or gravel it does get a little spin. Dont expect to burn rubber but over all I am much more pleased.
Also my old batteries would leak and ruin my shed floor finish because of bubbles during charging. This is a clean charge.
I am glad I made the switch so far.

Great battery for golf carts

I researched lithium batteries and after reviewing all of them I chose Dakota, because of the 11 year warranty. We live in a golf course community, all the neighbors couldn’t believe that It took me 6 hours to remove the old batteries and put in the lithium battery. I believe there’ll be more people here ordering Dakota Lithium. 11 year warranty, easy to install for mechanical minded people and reasonable priced why wouldn’t I get it. Thanks so much.

I am using the two batteries to power my 12KW inverter for powering my home about 10 hours a day with 6.4 KW solar panels.

Just installed my first 48 v battery to try out before I start selling them to my customers. So much power than before. Goes up the hills better and don’t have to charge it every day. So far ran it about 15 miles and still has plenty of charge. I also recommend the Bluetooth gauge. It keeps track of your battery and Amp draw. I So far really like it. Thanks to the great sales staff at Dakota lithium. Great to work with.

The Dakota lithium Battery 48v 96AH for my Club Car golf cart replaced 4 80 lb Trojan batteries that required constant maintenance and frustration. This battery is faster and no maintenance. What more can you ask for. I figure I will have this for twelve years….
