Best in Class 11 Year Warranty. That is 10 years more warranty then most lead acid batteries.
315 Ampere hours (Ah). Dakota Lithium batteries provide consistent power for all 315 Amp hours. DL LiFePO4 batteries have a flat voltage curve, which means they have a steady power output as the battery discharges. The power output will not dramatically drop like similar sized SLA batteries. You get all the juice down to the last drop.
1,000 CCA is adequate to start most boat and large vehicle engines
3780Wh
12.8 Volts (Dakota Lithium 12V batteries can be used in series for up to 48V systems)
15.06"L x 7.24"W x 10"H (385mm x 202mm x 252mm) Measurements are to the top of the terminals and includes side handles. **See notes in the product description for battery tray and battery box sizing**
Group Size 31 and Marine 8D size compatible
65 lbs (29.5Kg)
Up to 80% capacity for 4,000 cycles in recommended conditions, 70% capacity at 5,000 recharge cycles. Half-life (50% capacity) of 6,000 - 7,000 re-charge cycles (Typical SLA has 500 cycles). Backed up by an 11 year warranty.
200A max continuous, 300A max 10-second pulse, 1,000A max 2-sec CCA pulse. LiFePO4 chemistry has a flat voltage curve, meaning this battery will maintain a voltage of >12V for the full discharge cycle in most applications.
<200 A standard charge, 300A max charge current for <60 sec. 14.4V Recommended, 14.6V Max. Included is a LiFePO4 compatible charger. A SLA charger may work, but will reduce performance and lifespan of the battery. Even heat technology allows for charging below 32'F. Internal even-heat technology allows for charging below 0°C/32°F
Ideal for rugged & harsh environments. Much better than SLA or other lithium batteries. -20°F min, +150°F max optimal operating temps (battery performs well down to -20°F). Internal even-heat technology allows for charging below 32°F. BMS high temp cut off at 167°F / 75°C..
Increases performance in extreme cold. When charging the battery in temperatures below 0°C/32°F DL's internal heating element will warm the cells to 0°C/32°F. This increases the lifespan, performance, and efficiency of the battery.
Includes active BMS protection circuit that handles cell balancing, low voltage cutoff, high voltage cutoff, short circuit protection and high temperature protection for increased performance and longer life
M8 bolt size included. (Max torque 15 ft. lbs.) (Max 5 ft. lbs. on terminal post adapters)
Max IP65 water resistance rating. Appropriate for marine environments, not submersible.
All batteries are UN38 certified. Dakota Lithium's cells are UL1642 certified and have been tested per IEC62133 standards. Meets all US & International regulations for air, ground, train, & marine transport.
Dakota Lithium is ISO Certified per 9001:2015 standards, and select models are produced in ISO 14001 certified facilities.
12V 20A charger included ($299 value). Dakota Lithium 12V batteries should be charged at 14.4 volts, higher than AGM or lead acid. Lead acid chargers will work, but will only charge the battery to 80% of capacity.
The DL+ 12V 315Ah battery is built with Dakota Lithium's legendary LiFePO4 cells. 4,000+ recharge cycles (roughly 5 year lifespan at daily use) vs. 500 for other lithium batteries or lead acid.
I could not be happier with my 315 AH Dakota Lithium Battery which I installed in my Motorhome. It is compact: it fit in my existing battery tray which previously held two 6 volt AGM batteries. It’s lightweight: it weighs less than one of my 6 volt batteries! It is exactly what I needed. I have a residential refrigerator in my motorhome. With my two 6 volt batteries, I had 6 hours before I was forced to run my generator when I stopped to boondock. I just returned from a 4000 mile trip. I routinely stopped for 10 to 12 hours per night to boondock. I did not have to run my generator once! I typically had about 50 percent battery charge left before I would begin my day of driving. I have no solar charging, so this was 100 percent the battery. Also, after 4 hours of driving, my alternator charged the battery back up to 100 percent. I live in the Ohio, so another plus is the battery’s internal heating system. I don’t have to worry about the battery not charging when temps go below freezing. Finally, I have to compliment Dakota Lithium on their outstanding customer service. I knew nothing about Lithium, Shaun a member of their technical support staff took great care of me and patiently answered all my questions.
