Meet Jeremy Crowe – Kayak Fishing Pro Staff
Jeremy Crowe – Team Dakota Lithium – Kayak Fishing
Hometown: Grand Blanc, Michigan
Panning for gold in a river is recommended by 4 out of 5 people who recommend things and such. On the contrary, I hit the river for bronze. As Chairman of Crowestaff, I hereby certify that smallmouth bass fishing is my second favorite thing in the world. Combine river smallies with my children, family and friends…I have everything I need.
Sport of choice in the winter? Summer?
Winter time the kids and I snowboard and fish on the hard water. But I’ll find my way out on the rivers in the yak chasing fish all year. Kayak fishing and camping take precedence next to the family.
What circuits do you compete in?
A little bit of everything
KBF
Michigan Kayak Trail
Topwater Series
but mostly anything where I can find some moving water.
Wins, Accomplishments, and Big Moments
2017 River Basser of the Year (River Bassin)
Caught a Tennessee Trophy Musky while filming an episode of “Hooked on Wild Waters”
Have been highlighted in Bassmaster Magazine several times
Most importantly kayak fishing has gotten me all over the country chasing fish and meeting friends that have become my fishing family.
How did you start in your sport? (What’s your origin story?)
Originally fished from shore then a little flat bottom. Seen a guy fishing from a kayak in a field and stream magazine and thought that’s what I was meant to do. Found one on clearance that winter and hit a river early that spring. That was 13 years ago. Been floating and fishing rivers ever since.
What is your favorite Dakota Lithium Product & WHY?
The Powerbox 10 probably. Versatility. Functionality. I mean what else is a flashlight, phone/camera charger and will run your electronics for a couple days.
