Good sturdy tray for the battery

The tray is extremely sturdy and was essential in getting the batteries properly secured in our sailboat. The counter sunk fastener holes accommodate substantial screws while protecting the underside of the battery case from damage/scuffing. The tray has an extremely durable coating on it, preventing corrosion. Highly recommend to compliment battery installation.

This tray is a high grade product for securing group 24 sized batteries in enclosed compartments. However, I do not consider it suitable for mounting batteries in exposed locations, such as the deck of an open boat. There is no covering for protection from the elements or accidental shorting across the terminals.
