Caught a new personal best smallmouth bass on the Columbia River in 2019, a 20.5 inch monster. Still hoping to break by personal best largemouth bass, a 25 inch giant caught in Arizona in 2015.
Two second place finishes and one third in the 2019 OKBF Tour Event Series.
One Big Moment was placing 11th out of 200 anglers in the 2018 Shasta Bass Kayak Classic with almost no prefishing, no fishfinder, and my first time ever fishing Shasta Lake.
I grew up fishing the banks of New Jersey and Tennessee, then later fished North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Arizona. In 2015, I bought my first kayak, a Native Watercraft Slayer 12, and I guess you could say, I’m the one who got hooked. I have been an avid kayak angler ever since.
I LOVE my Dakota Lithium 10Ah battery. It’s lightweight, and darn near bulletproof. I got 3-4 days of fishing from one charge on my Humminbird Helix 5. I’m upgrading to a Helix 7 Mega for 2020, and I am looking forward to see how the 10Ah holds up. I have my eye on the Powerbox and hope to get one for the 2020 season.
