I am a outdoor enthusiast, outdoor writer, outdoor adviser media adviser, year around tournament angler, and a nature lovers. These passions have provided me with interesting travel locations, spectacular business partnerships, and the ability to capture priceless interactions with nature. If you see me in one of my watercraft or next to my ice shanty, stop by and see how my Dakota Lithium battery going strong powering my equipment.
My winter sport choice is ice fishing and open water fishing out of a boat or kayak in the summer.
I compete in various KBF events and regional ice fishing tournaments.
I have placed second overall for the Knutson’s Ice fishing tournament. My biggest moment was capturing a 46” Northern Pike in my Native Watercraft Slayer Propelled kayak. This behemoth hauled me around the lake for around an hour.
I began fishing at approximately five years old and my love for angling has steadily grown year after year. Ice Fishing, Docks, piers, and powerboat fishing were my primary locations to pursue many species of aquatic life. Mostly bluegill, and yellow perch were the primary fish that I caught. Until a hard fighting largemouth bass grabbed my plastic worm and popped out of the water shaking her head. Needless to say, the exhilarating pursuit of largemouth, pike, muskellunge, and long nose gar is now in my blood. I was introduced to kayak angling about 7 years ago. A local watercraft dealer had in stock a replacement impeller for my boat motor that was out of commission. After picking up the part, I began looking around at kayaks and noticed some angling kayaks. The sales manager allowed me to tryout one of these very stable kayaks with my fishing tackle for about an hour. I was hooked and eventually was offered a ProStaff position with the dealership. Slowly my recognition within the industry has grown into contributing writing positions, media advisory panels, trade show representative, tournament angling and sharing my passion with regional youth. -Tight Lines
I enjoy the 10 amp hour Dakota Lithium Battery because it offers me great reliable power both on the water and in my ice shanty to power lighting.
