I have only used this battery for a couple of weeks now, and only a few times to run my 30lb thrust trolling motor, but it appears to last for a long time. Last time I have used it, I ran it for 4h pushing 370lbs (a kayak with all my gear and me), and it still showed 13.22v on my Voltmeter after getting back home. In contrast, when I am done using a Marine lead acid battery for the same amount of time, I am lucky to have 50% charge left. So, while this battery is quite spendy, you do get what you pay for. Plus, with the superb customer service of Dakota Lithium folks, and their phenomenal 11y warranty, spending the extra cash is a no-brainer.

I’ve just begun using my new battery and have a couple of questions, but so far so good.

I have three running my trolling motor and you can’t run them down in 2 days on the water.

This is my 4th Dakota Lithium battery, I have a 36V on my trolling motor, this 12V 100ah for my electronics, and 2-12V 54Ah that I have installed in boats for my friends. They are incredible!

Love my dakota lithium battery,,,it powers my old town sportsman 10.6 kayak with minn kota trolling motor,,,been out a couple of times and have traveled for hours to my favorite fishing spots and have plenty of life left in the battery to make sure I make it back to the dock!!!!!!!!! Also,,,,,,this battery is light and doesn’t weigh a ton,,,like that feature as well!!!!!! Great product and would recommend to anyone!!!!
