Please note: a single battery is only appropriate for trolling motors with <20 lbs of thrust. For trolling motors with 20 to 45 lbs of thrust a single DL 54Ah battery is required. Or you can combine two batteries in parallel to create a 48 Amp continuous discharge rate and 46Ah of capacity. This provides the amps necessary to run the larger motor, increases runtime and lifespan of the battery.
