Experience the Dakota Lithium Difference

The DL 25Ah battery is built with Dakota Lithium's legendary LiFePO4 cells. 5,000+ recharge cycles (roughly 8 year lifespan at daily use) vs. 500 for lead acid or AGM. Optimal performance down to minus 20 degrees Fahrenheit (for winter warriors). Plus twice the power of lead-acid batteries at half the weight.

I have not used this battery yet. I bought this battery to power my Lowrance depth finder. I have heard several good things about the Dakota Lithium batteries – and decided to purchase one for my marine
Electronics.

Will be using this for Garmin LivescopePlus transducer and GLS10 black box with a dedicated Garmin 93sv for viewing. The battery shipped fine but was stuck in a delivery loop with UPS between Urbana, IL and Hammond, IN. According to UPS, there was a “sortation” problem that they could not explain. In reviewing the tracking log, it went between the two locations three times before it was finally delivered. I have been able to secure it in the boat, run the wiring and make all connections. Everything is getting power. I’m using the Connect-Ease trolling motor connection in lieu of a separate cutoff switch. It will likely be next month or early May before I get it out on the water to see how the battery performs. My first order was an 18amp that I use solely for a Garmin 73sv. I’ve been able to run it upwards of three days without recharging. Called Connect-Ease and spoke with the owner. He answered my questions and confirmed he had just done a similar install to the one I was contemplating that morning. My only recommendation is that the 6M studs (with washer and lock washer) could be longer as the Connect-Ease terminals are too large in diameter and need intermediate washers to make a clean connection. It would also be nice to place the charging leads jn the “battery side” of the connector to allow hooking up the charger while having the leads to the Garmin devices disconnected per Garmin’s recommendation.
