At my age (80+) lithium is the way to go. I’m using my new lithium battery to power my 9 foot Bucks Bag pontoon boat as well as my Old Town spot lock 136 kayak with, so far, great results. The lithiums light weight as well as ease of hookup are great pluses. I’m also receiving a lot more power and longer run times compared to the 12 volt marine deep cycle battery I was previously using.
