I got 2 of these 12v 54ah batteries for my flats boat. I have a Minnkota rt70 trolling motor that I use when I’m bass fishing in tournaments.
I put them to the test on Lake Okeechobee for my bass club 2 day tournament. It was super windy and I was fishing though the thickest vegetation. My trolling motor had full power all day! 7 to 8 hours of hard use and they worked awesome! Not to mention the bow of my boat is over 50 pounds lighter. It took about a week to receive the batteries after a placed the order. I’m very impressed with the customer service and the products. I would highly recommend Dakota Lithium to anyone thinking about getting lithium batteries. I’m going to get a starter battery next!

Used this for my new Texas Power Paddle kayak motor- gave me excellent performance for almost three straight hours on high!

Battery arrived as advertised. Well packaged, charged to extent advertised. Have not installed in my kayak yet, but the bench test with the motor was successful. Sales team promptly and satisfactorally responded to a couple of questions I posed prior to receiving the battery. Printed information included in the package answered any lingering questions I had. I’m totally satisfied with my dealings with Dakota and would recommend them to any one interested in adding power to a kayak. Now where do I find a battery box custom sized for my battery?

I have not had a chance to use the battery yet and probably will not be able to until spring of 2022. However, I can comment on the weight of the battery. Compared to my other marine battery it’s so nice not to have to pick up a batttery that weighs 60lbs compared to the lithium that weighs just 17lbs. I’m so looking forward to trying out the new lithium battery next year. I would probably rate the battery a ‘5’ but only gave it a ‘3’ because I have not used it yet.

I have been waiting years for lithium batteries to replace the old lead acid ones. This battery has some of the latest Lithium technology, performs very well in both its output and accepting the charger that I bought from Dakota with it as well. Dr. Darryl Pokea (Psychologist)

This is being used as power for solar charged entry gates. Will see soon how well it performs when the real cloudy weather hits. So far, so good

I purchased four batteries and have installed them in my 2004 CLUBCAR Precident golf car. The 48-volts of batteries is 220 pounds lighter compared to the stock T-1275 lead acid batteries. I did not need to purchase extra chargers because the internet offer included a charger with each battery. I was looking for a simple swap out and these batteries have been successful in their performance so far. I was concerned with the range I would have using the 54 amp hour batteries. Not a problem for me as the first test runs provided 20 miles of travel on relatively level pavement and grassy fairways before I recharged the batteries. Four chargers operating at the same time did not trip the breaker. Now for the predictable bad news. During my second series of runs I floored the accelerator to get to the only signal between our east and west communities here at PebbleCreek in Goodyear, Arizona. The drive motor wound up very nicely and a second later the first battery in line on the negative end detected excessive current and rightfully shut off. From now forward normal acceleration will be adhered to so I will never have to call a friend for a tow home. Lots of pluses using this lithium battery system. Weight loss, zero maintenance, reduced charging time and simple swap out.

The weight of this battery more than made up for the price tag, its great!

The battery is great. It is lightweight but packs a punch. There was a significant wait time which wasn’t a big deal. Dakota Lithium attempted an apology by “sending” a shirt, never got the shirt but the battery is great.
