I installed the DL 60 onto my Tracker Tournament 17 aluminum boat for starting and running my electronics and accessories ( 2 fishfinders, 50 # thrust trolling motor, livewell, etc. I am wonderfully pleased with my purchase, and the battery handled everything perfectly. Not knowing how much battery I discharged ( I flooded the engine and cranked the battery much more than usual), I took it out and placed it on its charger when I got home. It charged a total of 5 minutes to a full charge! Blew my mind. I had 3 LAB in the boat prior to the DL 60 and making the switch lowered the weight by about 100 pounds. Needless to say, the boat came up on plane quicker and handled much better with that weight gone from the rear of the boat. I had 4 passengers in the boat and it was outstanding. Best improvement I have ever added to the boat. I will also be using the battery with an inverter for camping to run a refrigerator, computer, and other appliances. Installing quick disconnects to the cables on the boat and the inverter makes the move seamless and quick. I highly recommend Dakota Lithium batteries backed by their 11 year warranty.

I installed my Dakota Lithium starting battery on Sunday and went fishing Monday morning. I ran both Humminbirds, Garmin Livescope and even my nav lights for most of the morning and the voltage never dropped below 12.6! If I ran all of this on my previous battery, I would have had to jump it after about four hours. This thing is a hoss, weighs about 60% of the previous battery and is about 25% smaller. Loving it so far!

I have a 50 hp Mercury, it starts like a new motor now. I also have the 12 volt 100 ah for trolling motor works great. One reason for buying these batteries is for solar backup. If we lose power at home with an inverter you can backup needs at home in Texas.

Battery came when promised. I charged it up with the carger supplied and have yet to use the battery.

Haven’t been able to get out & use my 2 – new Dakota’s but sure are looking forward to there performance. My initial purchase was about the weight or I should say the lack of. My big A G M batteries in my boats weight about 75 lbs. ea. & they’re difficult to say the least to get in & out of my boat. 70 yrs. old with a bad back & I’ve caused myself a few Dr. visits because of the problem. No more!! done with those heavy batteries. THANKS!!

Im running two of the 60ah 12v batteries to run a minnkota terrova 12v. The weight of two dakota lithiums is about half of the single agm i replaced with them.
