Prompt service and shipping on my new 12V 7Ah battery. Purchased for use with my Garmin Striker 4 portable depth finder/fish finder. Was looking for a lightweight, long-lasting replacement for the SLA battery and this is the ticket. Cut over 2 pounds off the total weight which is much appreciated when ice fishing or hauling gear. Used for 3+ straight days during a recent trip to Ontario with no dropoff in voltage or need to charge. Can’t go wrong with this battery as a replacement or upgrade

Have now purchased three 12 volt 7Ah batteries from Dakota Lithium. Two for our gate opener last year and one for a security system recently. The gate opener has been operating perfectly and we haven’t had any power related issues, unlike before when using sealed lead acid batteries. Dakota Lithium batteries obviously cost more, but you get a great bargain when considering their reliability and peace of mind.

Having great results with a previous 64ah DL purchase, I decided to purchase the 7ah DL to power the fish finder in my kayak. Because the battery for the fish finder is far forward, I wanted the weight savings. With the DL installed, the bow doesn’t “dig in” as low , handling waves better and unscientifically, appears to be a tenth or two faster
