Light, great improvement in run time over lead acid

Installed my two new Dakota batteries in series to supply 24vdc to my MinnKota 80 lb thrust trolling motor. A pleasant surprise that saved me a lot of screwing around is the two new batteries were small enough to fit in the single marine battery compartment on my Lund boat. Went fishing on Monday to test installation and after four hours, the batteries still showed at top voltage. Great!!

Must say that I was somewhat skeptical at first that 54Ah batteries would be sufficient enough for a full day of being on the water fishing hard. Not only can I get a full day of putting these batteries to a good test I can get several days out of them without having to charge. I have a 24V 80lb thrust Minn Kota. When I switched to these batteries my motor at full speed has more power and more response when turning at full power then it had been with group 31 deep marines.
As for their customer service it is top notch, I was missing a charger in my original shipment, I emailed support and received a response the same day I sent my inquiry. Later that day I received an email notification that my charger had shipped and I received it 2 days later. Excellent service and a great product, what else can you ask for.
