Description

Built Dakota tough, this 36 volt lithium battery packs a big punch. The 36 V 3.3 Ah LiFePO4 Dakota Lithium battery contains the same reliability and quality as our 12V batteries, but with the higher voltage needed for energy rich applications like electric bikes. Rated at 3.3 Ah, this battery is designed to operate in parallel – linked together in a package to get you the amps you need. For example: 2 batteries in parallel = 6.6 Ah or 3 = 10 Ah. The perfect amount of power to fuel your 36 volt motor.

  • Capacity: 3.3 ampere hours.
  • Lifecycles/Lifespan: Up to 80% capacity for 2,000 cycles in recommended conditions. (Typical SLA has 400 cycles).
  • Terminals: F2 terminals 0.25 in. wide (6.35mm)
  • Discharge: 20 A max continuous, 50 A max 300 mS pulse. 9.0 V max discharge, 11.0 V max recommended discharge. For longest lifetime recommended discharge rate 1-5 Amps
  • Charge: 43.8 V max, 42 V max recommended. Please note: this battery should be charged using a LiFePO4 compatible charger. A SLA charger may work, but will reduce performance and lifespan of the battery.
  • Operating temperature: Min:-20'F (-29'C) Max:120'F (49'C) . Max recommended environmental operating much better than SLA or other lithium’s.
  • Safe & Reliable: Includes active BMS protection circuit for increased performance and longer life.

I realized I hadn't bought an ebike battery for my 36 volt wheel but decided to try it anyway till I could get the right one. Then I was surprised that it worked as well as it did. I haven't run it all the way down yet but it has taken me almost 4 miles.

Bought 2 sets of 3 (36 volts) for two of my electric bikes. Getting about 20 miles per charge on 800 watt motors. Unbelievably light compared. to the Sealed Lead Acid batteries that I had used on the bikes in the beginning. Will never use SLA batteries again. Lead Acid batteries were. used (for electric cars) back in the late 1800's. It's 2015. It's time for a new technology. Will use these on all of our eBikes from now on.
