Very light and powerful

Been running 3 weekends so far have not had to charge them yet

I just completed the rebuild of my 2005 Ez-Go golf cart, from rough to a diamond. I decided to power it with the three Dakota DL+ 12v 60AH Golf Cart Battery Set. It was a hard decision, because of the cost but after reviewing the specifications, online reviews, lifetime value, 11-year warranty and my positive experience with Dakota’s sales representative, Tim who was quick to respond to my many questions, as I went through my decision process.
It was a great decision; easy to install, the batteries take up half the space, 2/3rds weight reduction, maintenance free and my golf cart performance has improved. I would recommend Dakota Lithium Batteries.

Just finished install. My EZ-Go cart has never been faster! Almost gave me whiplash on the first take-off. The weight differential is amazing! Removing the old batteries was a chore. The new Lithium ones are sooooo much lighter. I’ll send a follow-up review after some recharges in a couple of months. Can’t wait to see how they hold up!

Minor issues with charging the batteries but have been working with support to ensure everything is operating as it should. Much improved acceleration over the lead acid batteries. The lighter weight makes my 2005 EZGO golf cart handle a bit differently. Made one 18 hole circuit with a passenger and the battery percentage only dropped about 9%. Looking forward to many years of maintenance free use. Only negative comment is that I wish the 36 Volt charger had a longer input and output line since you have to plug in the charger directly to an outlet (i.e. no extention cord can be used). Had to change my garage around in order to accommodate the shorter lines on the 36 volt charger

great light weight batteries. My golf cart had six 6 volt lead-acid batteries that weighed about 480 pounds. the three Lithium 12 volt batteries that replaced the 6 volt batteries weigh about 60 pounds! What a difference!!
