100ah battery should be more than enough to keep the diesel heater going over winter. I made a mistake because the lithium batter is not self heated. Needed to make a decision and made the purchase. Thankfully the dc to dc charge controller can be switched from charger to battery and the diesel heater can be started that way. Then, when the diesel heater warms things up then settings can be switched to the lithium battery. Here is to season 2 of full time off grid / off road / boondocking / overlanding type thing. Solar panel seemes to be excellent and consider getting a second; same thing. Cheers.
