Can I bring my battery on a plane?
December 6, 2018 | Andrew Jay
Yes, and like most lithium batteries, Dakota Lithium LiFePO4 batteries must be taken on board in carry-on luggage. Passengers are allowed to bring batteries up to 160 watt-hours for domestic flights and 100 watt-hours for international flights. Regardless, Dakota Lithium recommends inquiring with one’s airline company for confirmation prior to travel.
