Purchased the 100amp. Great battery. replaced my heavy agm battery. used about 75 percent less on my normal fishing route . Will be able to test more if we are able to fish soon

Finding the right battery for a kayak is not an easy choice, I know money plays a big factor when deciding. However, when weighing options, the choice was clear to me. I have a Jackson Big Rig and decided to put a trolling motor on it, (this battery fits perfect in the rear storage hatch) along with the motor I went with a full Yack Attack light package, A Hummingbird Helix 7 and a 55# Minn Kota Power drive V2. I can run the trolling motor off and on (not sparingly), the graph and lights for 8 plus hours. In order to run all of this I needed to run 2 smaller battery’s or go with a 100-amp hour. When comparing options the decision was made clear by the weight and charge duration alone, The Dakota Lithium 12v 100Ah weighs about the same as a 35AH AMG battery, with that in mind along with a 11 year warranty how could you not go with a Dakota Lithium. Even with out the weight savings and longer duration their customer service has been a pleasure to work with. I have had a few questions, so I sent an email and with in a few hours I had a response. This is something that, in this day and age, is rare. I also received fallow up emails to make sure I am happy with their product. I would purchase again and recommend to anyone thinking about purchasing a Dakota product.
