I upgraded from 3x12v lead acid batteries and now have 5 times the runtime and 95lbs less in the back on my boat! Could not be happier!

I am very pleased with the performance of my Dakota battery. I have two I installed in my boat. It usually takes two or three trips before i run down the a battery. I installed an a dual switch system so when one runs down flip a switch and a fresh battery is being used. The best news is now y’all have a slimmer 36 volt battery which fits under my front seat and the larger battery fits under my leaning post. I could probably run 5 or 6 days with this set up before needing a charge

I got the 36 volt dakota lithium attached to my minnkota 36 volt ulterra trolling motor, first day out we were bucking a 20 to 25 Mph wind and it worked the ulterra hard, surprisingly after a full day of fishing my battery still registered at 39.5 volts, the battery capacity hasn’t even moved, using victron smart shunt, thats outstanding. Considering I dropped 120 lbs total weight from the lead batteries, and the performance, it’s a win for me… I would most definitely purchase it again and recommend dakota lithium to any boat owners.

Perfect battery for my 36VDC Minn Kota Terrova. Fits perfectly in the forward battery compartment on my 2019 Robalo 246 Cayman. Dakota even pointed me in the direction of Mealey Marine for a perfect fit battery tray with ties downs. The fact that this battery is only 59 lbs vs using 3 series wired 12 vdc wet cell batteries that would top out at over 175lbs makes the purchase even better.

At first I was concerned that 65ah would not be enough capacity for my application. After several trips to the St Lawrence from sun up to sundown, the battery has been excellent. Many times, with anchor lock holding me in the current for an hour at a time throughout the day, still have not found the bottom of this battery. For others looking to purchase this battery, I run a Ranger Z520c, lowrance ghost and the power pole charge. Excellent product all around!
