I purchased the 54ah battery to run a trolling motor a couple of years ago. It worked so much better and was so much lighter than the old lead acid battery. This battery is kept at the cottage where we sometimes get power outage. With the purchase of the power inverter, I can use the battery during power outage (often during the winter months or post windstorms) to charge my phones, ipads etc and run a couple of lights. So I think it is perfect to extend the use of the battery during the offseason. Essentially, it saves me from purchasing a small gas power generator. Also, would be very useful to bring along for camping etc.

I like the size and will use it with the the 12V 54ah battery to power our CPAPs when the power is out.
