I love my new LiFePo2 battery as I know I can now play golf all day long without worrying about running out of power. Love this purchase!!

Purchased two 48v golf cart batteries for my John Deere Electric Gator and replaced eight 6-volt wet cell batteries. Added a new charger and 48v to 120v ac inverter. Of course, rewired everything and added a Smart BMV so I can monitor the battery status on the cart and view full status on my phone.

I used this in a John Deer e-Gator. I removed the 8 six volt batteries and replaced them with the Dakota Lithium Battery. The cart is wonderful. Very spry and much faster than before. The weigh reduction has made the steerinbg so much easier. This has been a phenomenal change.

The 48V battery works as advertised. I installed it in our 2019 Club Car Tempo and it has improved its acceleration and distance over the old lead acid batteries it came with, and no more filling the batteries with distilled water is a bonus.

It was a simple DIY installation in my “star car” golf cart. By utilizing the available instructions, we were able to install two 48 volt/ 96 AH batteries, and utilize the existing 48v to 12v transformer and “charge” indicator. The only thing I needed to purchase were the protective fuses and “fresh”battery cables of the correct length. The Cart is licensed as a “low speed vehicle” for on road use. Since installing these batteries, nightly recharging is a thing of the past, and negotiating hills has little impact on speed or discharge rate.

So far I am very satisfied with my 48 volt battery. I replaced my 8 6volt batteries. Here in Arizona it was a task keeping all batteries topped off with distilled water.
We leave our golf cart parked in our car port. Upon returning after approximately 6 months the batteries have dropped below 30 percent charged so the charger will not charge below 30%. They I need to individually charge to bring them above 30%.
I plan to bring my Lithium battery into our house in our 6 month absence where I maintain a somewhat controlled temperature at 90 degrees. It is much more secure inside as well.
