I’ve been a fisherman my entire life and a kayak angler for 9 years. Being a multi-species angler has allowed me to check off multiple bucket list fish. An 80 lb Halibut, 150 lb sturgeon, Salmon, Sailfish, Peacock Bass, Clown Knifefish and Permit. While my list has gotten shorter my love the sport continues to grow
Kayak Fishing 12 months out of the year.
We have a limited amount of tournaments in the PNW but I do participate in a handful of KBF events
Brownlee Crappie Derby
and Heroes on the Water fund raising events.

and multiple big name sponsors.
While I love fishing and enjoying fishing with friends on their boats I never really wanted to own a boat. I picked up a copy of Kayak Angler Magazine in 2011 while on vacation in the Outer Banks. I was blown away at how far kayaks had come along. I got back from my vacation, demoed several model Hobie kayaks and bought my first Pro Angler. I was one of the few evangelists for the sport in the PNW.
12V 10ah Dakota Lithium Battery and 12V 23ah battery. Weight, Reliability and Endless Power to keep up with top of the line fish finders that draw a ton of power. Needed a larger battery this year to run my Humminbird Helix 9 Mega. The 12V 23ah battery is amazing.
