Installed in a Helix 7 , so far it has worked fine.

My Helix 7 runs so much longer now, it’s much lighter too.

I bought this battery to use with my ice fishing locator. I’m totally happy with the performance. The battery has more endurance than I do and I haven’t yet run out of power while fishing. Should last a lot longer than my old battery, as well.

That’s 1 bad ass battery. i bought bigger than I needed, I used it just to run a little garmin striker 4 plus. I used it for the first time, ran the striker for 9 hours straight with the backlight all the way up. I dont know how much it drained, but I know it only took 30 minutes to recharge what I used lol. I’d say this battery could last me 2 outings atleast.

I went from 2 7ah SLA batteries to 1 Dakota 10ah. Cut my weight by 2/3.

My Helix Ice 7 would fly through the original battery. After getting the Dakota it ran all day with no drain at all.

I bought this battery for my Marcum LX5 flasher after fishing 10 hours and my lead acid battery went dead on me right before prime time bite. Well I have since had a chance to test it out in a local fishing contest called Battle on Bago. I went out for the second day of the tournament and started fishing about 6am and since the contest ended at 2pm I packed up to go enter my catch. The following day I was cleaning my truck out about 12pm and picked up my flasher to find I had accidentally left it running the entire time 30hrs strait and still running strong!

I have used it only once since I purchased it. The battery display on my helix hasn’t moved off of 100% charged!!! The battery that came with the unit lasted only a few hours! Great product!!

Great service and product. However I wish you would make mention that a customer may have to add new connectors to their current fish finder to hook to terminals. I had to clip wires and add larger connectors for my Vexilar.
