The DL 10 Ah battery is built with Dakota Lithium's legendary LiFePO4 cells. 5,000+ recharge cycles (roughly 10 year lifespan at daily use) vs. 500 for other lithium batteries or lead acid. Nice clean battery and no need for “inline” fuses to power up my Helix 5 GPS/Sonar on the ice. Took it out couple times and it holds well in charge and temperatures. Only had to charge it up upon receiving BUT haven’t after few outings as it didn’t drop enough that requires to be recharged. (A PLUS for me as opposed to daily charging on SLA.)
