Bought the battery to use on a Helix 7 Portable package. I haven’t used it ice fishing yet, but it was/is fantastic on uncharted fly in lakes. I ran the locator/GPS for 9 hours straight (forgot it turned on during shore lunch) and it took only about 90 minutes to charge to full off a 2000w generator at the end of the day.

The weight reduction is VERY noticeable!!!

If it lasts, I’ll never buy another lead battery.

Great so far. No complaints with products or shipping. I will buy more batteries from Dakota Lithium in the near future.

I purchased one 10Ah battery from Dakota last fall and ran a Lowrance Ti 9 on it in addition to other electrical items. It lasted longer than any battery I ever had since starting kayak fishing 6 years ago. To extend me into more than one day of usage, I purchased another and wired them together in parallel. A single 10Ah could have handled what I needed it for but with two now I know I will never be short of power. Great product Dakota, thanks.

What a battery! I had been using a 7AH lead acid battery with my Humminbird Helix 7. With the backlight setting on 5 I would get about 5 hours of runtime. With the Dakota Lithium the backlight setting is on 8 and I got more than 11 hours.

Bought this battery to power my new hummingbird ice helix 5. Very impressed with the battery holding a charge10 times longer than the standard 9v battery and half the weight.
