The DL 10 Ah battery is built with Dakota Lithium's legendary LiFePO4 cells. 5,000+ recharge cycles (roughly 10 year lifespan at daily use) vs. 500 for other lithium batteries or lead acid. Optimal performance down to minus 20 degrees Fahrenheit (for winter warriors). Plus twice the power of lead-acid batteries at half the weight.

Just what I needed for my camping trip
I am a full time, professional fishing guide in Central Texas. I now have six Dakota Lithium 12V 10Ah batteries in service on my 20’9″ center console fishing boat. When I added Garmin LiveScope sonar to my rig, I wanted an independent power source totally separated from my 3 lithium ion trolling motor batteries and my lithium ion cranking battery so as to avoid any kind of electrical interference. I connected 3 sets of 2 batteries each in parallel with one another to create three 12V 20Ah systems. One system powers my bow-mounted Garmin sonar, one system powers my console-mounted Garmin sonar, and one system powers my Garmin transducer. I have a separate Dakota Lithium 12v battery charger running to each battery, and all 6 batteries are encased in a waterproof box I purchased from Academy and then customized to pad the batteries and prevent movement within the box. I’ve been running this system for 7 months now and am very pleased. I’ve never had a single technical issue, and I’ve found that the batteries charge quite quickly. I used these batteries to replace 2 12 amp hour lead acid batteries in a mobile chicken coop. Yep, 50 chickens in a coop that rolls around a pasture with a 10 watt solar powered automatic door. The lithiums are much more efficient in a solar application – working fine on partial charge during cloudy weather. Lead acid batteries didn’t last a year with this abuse. Thanks for a great product!
