After film school in the late 2000s, life behind the camera became more than a career—it became a calling. A passport to wild places. A tool to tell real stories. And by 2015, it was clear that the nine-to-five grind wasn’t worth missing what mattered most: life with his wife, time outside, and the freedom to create without limits. So they packed up and hit the road.

Art runs deep in his blood—passed down from paint-stained studios and early mornings learning light through a lens. What drives him now is simple: to see the world in its most raw, beautiful form, and to inspire others to protect it.

But when your life depends on power—literally—your gear can’t fail. “All the equipment I have is necessary for success, period. No frills,” he says. That’s where Dakota Lithium comes in. From cameras and hard drives to keeping the lights on during storms back home, his setup runs on trust and lithium. “That’s the goal: confidence your gear has your back, so you can focus on never missing a moment.”

These days, the journey looks a little different. A recent car wreck brought a pause to full-time travel—but not the spirit of adventure. Whether off-grid or off the beaten path, the mission remains: chase the story, share the beauty, and keep creating.
